Seems like today everybody is trying to convince the consumer why their Imported Chinese PMA or Delco is the best on the market. Here is an interesting concept....no single tool is the best for every application....IF YOU HAVE THE WIND THE THIS IS ONE POTENT PMA I.E. if you live in one of the darker areas of the map you could buy this and tell you power company where to go literally
Here At Hurricane Wind Power we are not limited by things other wind companies such as what stators or PMA's are available for import. This is because everything we sell is hand wound by craftsmen in the USA we can therefore custom build products that will fit the consumers individual need.
If you are reading this you are probably fed up with researching which Wind Generator is the best for you. You have seen smoke and mirrors such as guys measuring the amperage of their Imported PMA in videos without any load attached. Those of you familiar with electrical principles know wattage is a measure of work being done and cannot be demonstrated without a load. Others now claim that you need 70 mph winds to make with a wind generator. This would be because the off the shelf automobile stator they are using is made with too heavy gauge wire to make voltage until the unit spins at 800 rpm then when it reaches the cut in point the load stops it dead it its tracks. Yet others sell completely fraudulent products slapping a wind sticker on an off the shelf car alternator.
- If you see a cylindrical shaped PMA with a long shaft sticking out and heat sink fins you have are looking at an imported Chinese generator most likely of inferior quality.
- The vast majority of Delcos on the market are made with machine wound stators not suited for wind generators. They use imported stators and imported magnets and claim to be American made
- Of course if the wind is blowing harder more energy can be extracted from it; therefore we designed this series to take advantage of the higher winds providing more charging amps without the downside of building a generator that seldom if ever reaches charging voltage
- Our low profile stator cores allow us to use more magnetic force without cogging and needing less torque than most PMA's to turn. This is because there is less iron for the magnets to draw upon. The other day I read an ad bragging about having 400 lbs of pull force it his rotor and that being the most of anything on the market. To set the record straight we have almost twice that.
