Hurricane Wind Power line wind generators utilizing new high efficiency patented technology
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) – Dec 13, 2009 – Hurricane Wind Power LLC of Virginia in response to much consumer interest is releasing a new Permanent Magnet Alternator that is highly efficient. This product is targeted for the do -it-your-self builder of wind generators. This product in testing has outperformed every other generator head on the market. The new product improves on existing designs by utilizing double stator patented technology with a non iron stator core that makes this a truly revolutionary product.
This configuration allows the unit to increase the magnetic force within the alternator utilized to create power while decreasing the torque need to "break the unit loose" and get it spinning. This is due to the lower magnetic adhesion within the unit made possible by eliminating the iron core within the stator. The result is our product turns in low wind situations and start charging battery banks at never before heard of wind speeds and RPM levels. In testing we were able to charge twelve volt battery banks in as low as four mph winds.
The line is made up of three categories of generators all made in the USA.. One of which has a double stator patented technology and can start charging a twelve volt battery bank at as low as forty RPM and in wind speeds as low as 4 mph. This is significantly lower wind than the products currently on the market perform at and should pump life back into a market that has been down recently due to the scarcity of the "ametek" line of DC motors that wind enthusiasts have used to build wind generators at home in the past.
The other two generators are single permanent magnet alternators that are both low wind units that start charging twelve volt systems with as low as eighty RPM
All of the products in the new line are brushless and require very low maintenance . These units will be available for the consumer in Mid December and can be paired with the ultra high efficiency blades being offered for the new units that maximize torque, hubs and the wind turbine bodies. They can be purchased as part of a kit or used to be incorporated within the design of the Home wind generator plan of the do it your selfer.
Hurricane Wind Power LLC, Virginia, to provide promise for the future of small wind generation
New wind turbine line capable of powering an average home starting at 1099$ is making waves in the micro wind industry.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) – Dec 04, 2009 – Hurricane wind power yesterday announced that they are releasing a new wind generator capable of powering an average American home. This comes as many have begun to place the small wind generation industry under scrutiny. The turbines are rated at a conservative One and Two Kilowatt models that hook directly to a residential grid without the use of storage batteries. The options will provide consumers with the option of a home wind power solution that will in many cases come close to a eliminating home owners utility bills.
This product is in response to the recent months the “residential wind power” has received some poor reviews in some studies indicating that the smaller scale wind products currently on the market are not suitable to return dividends on investment and therefore to not have little merit. According to sources with Hurricane. The problem has come from confusion amongst buyers in a relatively new market differentiating bona fide products from the many prevailing "scams" going on that leave the consumer confused about what is real and what isn't. According to Anthony Jones owner of Hurricane Wind Power" A remedial search of the internet for term wind generator will yield many results the majority of which are of products and information" e books" such as the ever present earth 4 energy . Many of these portray unrealistic perception of what it takes to power an average home. In other words sure power can be made from a DIY wind generator, however in many cases the gains made by utilizing these systems could also me realized by turning off a light bulb. Usually a grain of truth is mixed in with a lot of myth
According to Jones another issue has been deliberate deception in advertising by turbine manufacturers in the amount of power the product will actually output. This had become industry standard to the point that one company rate their production "real world output". The implication is power ratings on wind turbines had gotten so outlandish it prompted someone to advertise "hey we aren't lying".
Confusion exists around how much power is actually need to make a real difference in a home owners power bill. Many residential users in this age of electronics are using on average 2000 KW hours per month. The Hurricane line has introduced turbines to the market for the consumer that will output 750 and 1500 KW hours per month in suitable sites. This marks the first time that a quality turbine will be released to the public that has the capability to power a home without e $5000-10000 price tag. The line will start out at 1099$ and is currently available. All of these issues were address in the latest additions to the line of high power wind products
Study indicates the majority of Residential Wind Turbine buyers are green literally
A study released today indicates 67 percent of consumers buying home wind products indicate they have little or no experience with wind generators. As a result many are mislead to purchase products that will not meet there needs.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 22, 2009 – Hurricane Wind Power LLC of Virginia today released a study indicating 67 percent of home wind generator system buyers indicated when polled that they have little or no experience with wind power. Of those 32 percent had purchased wind products that they felt had been misrepresented in the past. The respondents stated the the output, what the product would "do" for them, IE what it would run. technical specifications, and the product simply not working were listed among some of the reasons they felt they were dissatisfied with prior purchases. The conclusion being it is imperative to find a reputable vendor and do your research before buying. Seems many are getting sucked in by the fad of going green and leaving caution and common sense to the wind.
The most common issue I see as the owner of a wind power company is not defining clear goals before purchasing a wind turbine kit. With the love our society has for electronics these days we must consider how much power is used when selecting a product. I use around 2000 KW hours per month. Many others use more power than that. With some simple math you can soon deduct that the 500 watt wind generator will not make you self sufficient. Many business are leaving buyers with high hopes with systems that would really only output enough power for a hunting cabin.
The findings of this study has led Hurricane Wind Power to to develop a new line of wind generators and wind turbines, 1kw and 2 kw. These turbines realistically put out those figures in as low as 20 mph winds. This line will be budget friendly and nice looking for the customer concerned with how the neighborhood will feel about their new project. Most importantly it will provide the power that buyers are looking for at a price that buyers are used to see being quote 2-3 times higher in price. Our research also concluded that among factor most important to potential buyer are price, output, noise level, aesthetics, and quality. All of these issues were address in the latest additions to the line of high power wind products
Hurricane Windpower LLC of Virginia set to release new line of residential wind power products
Hurricane Wind power LLC of Virginia is set to release its new line of wind turbines that eliminate the need for the consumers to use battery banks. In the past that has been a downfall for the average user interested in using wind power.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 14, 2009 – Hurricane Wind Power LLC of Virginia is set to become a major player in the small wind generator market globally. The company has developed a line of wind generators that competes with the price range of the exploding DIY wind generators that have become so popular in recent years with wind energy enthusiasts. The DIY market has dropped off some recent months however due to the scarcity of the obsolete ametek line as well as the shortage of suitable DC motors. According to the owner Anthony Jones," as folks realize they are buying obsolete products and they will not be able to find "brushes" for the motors they have overpaid for business has really taken off.
The new line of generator features an all inclusive kit the eliminates the need to piece wind turbines together. The kits include blades, a high quality generator, and a built in slip ring . They have released a 500 model, with 750, and 1000 watt models being introduced at the beginning of December 2009. The products will feature 3 blades with an optional 5 blade rotor for low wind areas. The line is virtually maintenance free with the expected life of a unit being 20 years.
What really sets this line apart from the competition is that are custom matched to a direct grid tie connection to the home. For many wind turbine owners this has been a sticking point trying to figure out how to get the power into their grid. Many wind generator owners in the past have resorted to running an extension cord to a battery bank and modified sine wave inverter. The other Obstacle has been the grid tie inverters cost a small fortune. The inverters from Hurricane Windpower are pure sine wave, safe for the sensitive electronics in your home, and affordable in price. The clear advantage with these products is the power is in your grid with whatever is not used being sold back to the power company.
The 500, 750, and 1000 watt turbines will be available in 12,24, and 48 volt models with 12 volt being primarily for battery charging in small systems and the 48 volt turbines being used mostly with the grid ties. The wind generator line is available at Wind Turbine Technologies Company.
