Trojan will only drop ship batteries within the lower 48 states and Canada. Shipments to HI or AK will need to be consolidated in our warehouse prior to shipping.
Trojan Battery Company
2V, 1110Ah Premium Line Flooded Battery
Renewable energy applications operate under challenging conditions such as fluctuating or extreme temperatures, remote locations and the intermittent nature of solar and wind power generation. Designed with a 10-year battery life, Trojan Battery?s Premium line of flooded deep cycle batteries is specifically engineered to withstand the rigorous conditions of renewable energy applications. The Premium line incorporates advanced battery features such as Trojan?s DuraGrid?, MaxGuard? XL separator and Alpha Plus? Paste technologies that provide superior performance, rugged durability and exceptionally long life. Our product strategy is focused on one simple objective ? manufacture the highest quality battery available in the industry which is why our Premium line is tested to IEC standards.
SMART CARBON? Deep-cycle batteries used in off-grid and unstable grid applications are heavily cycled at partial state of charge (PSOC). Operating at PSOC on a regular basis can quickly diminish the overall life of a battery, which results in frequent and costly battery replacements. To address the impact of PSOC on deep-cycle batteries in renewable energy (RE), inverter backup and telecom applications, Trojan Battery has now included Smart Carbon? as a standard feature in its Industrial (IND) and Premium (RE) flooded battery lines.
Trojan RE Series Features:
- Smart Carbon Technology for 15% improved cycle life and faster recharge
- Improved construction for excellent performance in renewable energy applications
- 2 Year Warranty (twice as long as the standard Trojan line)

The most important characteristic to consider when purchasing a deep-cycle battery for a renewable energy application is cycle life. This is usually measured as the number of discharge/charge cycles the battery can provide before its capacity drops to a specified percentage of its rated capacity (i.e. 50%). Batteries from different manufacturers may have the same capacity and energy content and be similar in weight, but design, materials, process, experience and quality control have a big influence on how long the battery will cycle. When comparing two batteries of equal Ah capacity and cost, a battery capable of 1,000 cycles is effectively half the total life cost of one that is only capable of 500 cycles.
